The Temple at Sacred Haven, A Sanctuary for the Senses,  was originally founded in 2000 as a not-for-profit, organized under the guidelines of a 501.c.3 religious entity. While not officially recognized by IRS as a 501(c)(3) church, Bishop EveLynn Maurine registered it as the spiritual  extension of her holistic healing practice.

The Temple at Sacred Haven officially became a not-for-profit religious organization in the State of Georgia in 2001.

Late in 2025, the opportunity came about to “officially” be designed a 501(c)(3) by IRS.  Beginning January 1, 2026, the new Entity is now Sacred Haven Sanctuary.

The stated purpose within the Articles of Incorporation for Sacred Haven Sanctuary have expanded a bit and appear below.

“The Corporation is organized to provide Spiritual Ministry, Life Coaching and Educational services to the community at large, remotely as well as in person.

The specific purpose of the Corporation is to provide a sanctuary and meeting places to study, discuss, and practice a variety of Spiritual Philosophies and foster the re-integration of the Sensual Self into the Spiritual Self. The Corporation seeks to aid individuals, couples and families in contacting and expressing the divinity that is inherent within each of us.”
